Feeling Anxious, Just Breathe

We all feel overwhelmed or anxious from time to time and sometimes we may not be able to shake those uncomfortable feelings. When that occurs just remember 4-7-8. Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, then hold for 7 and finally exhale through your mouth for the count of 8 and repeat once more. This coping tool will refresh you physically and by concentrating on the 4-7-8 sequence your thoughts and feelings will be redirected to the current moment, letting go of negativity and allowing space for faith, hope and trust.
